Thanks to all the musicians who contributed to this show, and to all listeners. Send us comments if you like what you hear (or even if you don’t… feedback is so important!). If you want to keep up to date with news about the show, EppyFest, or just chat with other listeners, don’t forget that there’s a Facebook group – just search for the Eppy Gibbon Podcast Show on Facebook and request to join, plus don’t forget that we’re part of the Progzilla Radio Network. Do join me for the next show when I’ll be playing the usual eclectic mix of great music, both the weird, the wonderful and everything in between. I’m not sure of the theme yet, but whatever it is, I hope to see you then.

Episode 364: The bells! The bells!

This is the 364th edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the playlist to accompany it. You can CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD but note the shows are large files. The show is also available to stream via Mixcloud and the Progzilla Radio Network (the show appears on Progzilla in alternate weeks). After the last show when I collaborated with Rebsie Fairholm, this time I’m back on my lonesome, but hopefully with just as exciting and eclectic a playlist. We have a feature album this time, ‘Tubular Bells’, the debut studio album by Mike Oldfield, but you won’t actually be hearing any tracks from that album as instead we’ll be focusing on the album’s influence, so you’ll hear four tracks inspired by this classic album, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, throughout the show. In addition, there will be lots of focus on 2023 releases, including a track as part of our new Prog Magazine feature, plus we continue to look forward to EppyFest 10 and another upcoming live event, and we’ll also pay tribute to the late, great Tina Turner via our 80s feature, so you can expect lots of dips into the usual wide range of genres and styles. Below you’ll find the track list, plus weblinks from where you can find more information about each artist.
