Episode 387: Goodbye Winter’s End, hello Cheltenham Jazz Festival

This is the 387th edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the playlist to accompany it. You can CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD but note that the shows are large files. The show is also available to stream via Mixcloud and the Progzilla Radio Network (the show appears on Progzilla in alternate weeks). Following the last show when I previewed this year’s Winter’s End Progressive Rock Festival, on this show I’ll be providing some reflections on my relatively brief experience of this year’s event. And I’ll also be previewing this year’s Cheltenham Jazz Festival, running from Wednesday 1st May to Monday 6th May, with tracks from a number of acts and bands who will be playing at the festival. And connected to that, we’ll have a feature artist, American composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Michael League, who will be at the festival with the band he leads, Snarky Puppy, so throughout the show, you’ll hear three tracks featuring him. Other than that, we’ll cover the usual diverse selection of styles and genres across the playlist. Below you’ll find the track list, plus weblinks from where you can find more information about each artist.
