Episode 315: Here If You Listen

This is the 315th edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the playlist to accompany it. You can CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD but note the shows are large files. The show is also available to stream via Mixcloud and the Progzilla Radio Network (the show appears on Progzilla in alternate weeks). Last time around, I reviewed some of the best music from 2020 that didn’t get included in my top 42 albums countdown of last year. But this time, there will be much more of a focus on 2021 releases, mixed up with some great older stuff too, and covering the usual eclectic mixture of musical styles. And we have a feature album on this show, ‘Here If You Listen’, the highly impressive 2018 release by David Crosby and his collaborators Michael League, Becca Stevens and Michelle Willis, and you’ll hear three tracks from that throughout the playlist. There will also be a tribute to the late, great Jon Hassell. Below you’ll find the track list, plus weblinks from where you can find more information about each artist.
