Episode 293: Tim Smith Tribute Special

On this show I’ll be paying tribute to the music, the legacy and the genius of the late, great Tim Smith. Our feature album this time reflects that as it’s the fourth album proper by the band that Tim founded & fronted, ‘Sing To God’ by Cardiacs, and you’ll hear three tracks from that on the playlist. Other than that you can expect the usual eclectic musical mixture, including music from Tim’s various other musical projects: his solo work, Mr & Mrs Smith & Mr Drake, The Sea Nymphs, & Spratley’s Japs, plus cover versions of Tim’s work, music that influenced Tim, & bands who were in turn inspired by him.
