Episode 132: 2014, a half-term report

July 13, 2014 at 8:01 pm (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , , )

This is the 132nd edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the playlist to accompany it. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN. You can also listen via Mixcloud here. Following Daniel & Rebsie’s excellent recent show I’m back again now that EppyFest 3 has been and gone. As we’re now into the second half of 2014 I thought now was a good time to deliver a little half-term report on some of my favourite tracks and albums of the year so far. The show features the usual eclectic mixture of music, but there’s no feature album this time around as I wanted to focus on as many tracks from as many 2014 releases as I could. Below you’ll find the track list, plus weblinks to where you can find more information about each artist.

Total running time: 2 hour and 17 minutes. Downloaded file is 126 MB.

Many thanks as always to all the bands, musicians and listeners who make this podcast possible and also thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of EppyFest – it will return next year. Please leave a comment if you like what you hear (or even if you don’t… feedback is so important!) or if you want to have your say on anything else connected to this podcast. Next time I’ll be back for another eclectic show, hopefully catching up on some of the new releases that I’ve been accumulating over the past few weeks, so I hope you’ll come back for that.

    Dear Ian,

I play for a progressive rock quartet called A Formal Horse. I was wondering if you could consider playing our music on your podcast?

    Best wishes,

      Dear Russell,

Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry for the delay but busy, busy. I’m listening to A Formal Horse now and I’m liking what I hear. I’d be happy to play some of your tracks on the show. Can you send some material my way?

      Best wishes,
