December 14, 2010 at 10:25 am (Uncategorized) (, , )

This is the 59th edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the blog entry to accompany it. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN. This time around it’s another interview show and we’ll be speaking to Mark Elliott and Martin Clarke of Those Men. We’ll be featuring some music from their 2007 album ‘Sobgod’ but the bulk of the music will come from their ambitious latest work Theman Simpulse’, an epic concept album which came out earlier this year . As well as the music you’ll hear how Mark and Martin came up with the ideas for this fantastical musical tale. Below you’ll find the track list, plus weblinks from where you can find more information about Those Men.

Thanks to Mark and Martin for coming such a long way to get to the Eppy Gibbon studio and for waiting such a long time for this interview to be aired (we actually recorded it late in the summer). Send me comments if you like what you hear (or even if you don’t… feedback is so important!). The next episode is another special seasonal edition of the show and we’ll be featuring lots of music with a wintry, festive or Christmassy theme to it, but very much in the traditional Eppy Gibbon vein.
