This is the 57th edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the blog entry to accompany it. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN. Following Daniel and Rebsie’s recent and excellent ‘fill-in’ show I’m back with lots more music and another interview. This edition focuses largely on an interview with Michael Woodman of the wonderful British band Thumpermonkey Lives!. We’ll be talking about various things but focusing specifically on the band’s latest album, the splendid ‘We Bake Our Bread Beneath Her Holy Fire’. And around the interview there will be music from the usual eclectic sources – old friends and new from around the world. Below you’ll find the track list, plus weblinks from where you can find more information.

Enjoy! Many thanks to Mike for recording his parts of the interview. Send me comments if you like what you hear (or even if you don’t… feedback is so important!). If you’re having problems listening to the show then the easiest solution is to download it via podcatching software such as iTunes, or a download manager like DownThemAll! The next episode will see the great undead evil known as Count Eppy Gibbon return from the grave to bring you another (albeit somewhat belated) Halloween special. You can expect the usual mixture of styles and genres but with a slightly more spooky edge to the proceedings.
