Episode 28: A Long Track Special

This is the twenty-eighth edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the blog entry to accompany it. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN. We were supposed to be having a special guest presenter this time around but sadly that’s had to be postponed. So instead you get me again and a long track special, so there will be only seven tracks, five of which clock in at over seven minutes. We have artists from the UK and the US, adding up to well over an hour of fascinating, varied and generally quite lengthy music. This month the feature album is ‘Chupacabras’, the third album from US band Phideaux, plus there’s the usual diverse selection of styles and genres, including prog rock, spacey psych rock and experimental jazz rock. Below you’ll find the track list, plus weblinks from where you can find more information about each artist.

Total running time: 1 hour and 22 minutes. Downloaded file is 75.7 MB.

Thanks as always to all the musicians who contributed to this show, and to you the listeners. Please do spread the word and send me comments if you like what you hear (or even if you don’t… feedback is so important!). For the next episode we’ll sort of be ‘back to normal’: more quality music but generally of the shorter variety. And don’t forget the RSS feed and the MySpace and Facebook groups.
