This is the thirty-second edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the blog entry to accompany it. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN. This edition focuses primarily on this year’s Summer’s End festival, perhaps the UK’s biggest and best progressive rock festival. This is the fifth year of the festival and it takes place over the weekend of the 9th, 10th and 11th of October. We look ahead to the festival via an interview with Stephen Lambe, one of the co-organizers, and there’s music from many of the bands who will be performing (along with a few who aren’t), adding up to well over an hour of fascinating and varied music. Not surprisingly the focus will mainly be on various aspects of progressive rock, but as usual we’re pushing at the edges of musical boundaries so just open your ears and listen.
